Profile:  Big Canadian keeper who was in outstanding form last season, amazingly justifying comparisons laughingly made with Peter Schmeichel early last season by the Somerset intelligentsia (ie Troy Berkeley).   Ward has also taken on the mantle of club secretary and general goffer that the bald one relinquished.  He hopes that this at least will guarantee his position in the Pot starting XI (well, it worked for Jez). Managing to get his annual red card in early in the campaign, Ward now plans to put his feet up for a while and watch Marek show him how it should be done.
